- Our partner NGO in Kenya, Empower the World, identifies deserving students and manages the scholarships. KenyaHelp’s role is to raise the funds.
- Students who receive scholarships must demonstrate academic promise by scoring at least 2.8 on the KCPE Exam (the comprehensive exam that all students completing 8th grade in Kenya take) and financial need as demonstrated to Empower the World.
- Parents, if the students have them, are responsible for uniforms, bedding, pocket money, personal needs, and a small payment on school fees.
