Fr. Kiriti will talk about the impact of St. Francis Secondary School for Girls (SFG) on students, the wider community and on the role of its supporting Kenyan NGO, Empower the World.

It has been 10 years since Margo first traveled to Naivasha to teach math and 8 since St Francis opened its doors. The first class of 17 girls matriculated in 2010. Over 200 girls have graduated since then and in November there will be 63 more graduates from this remarkable school.

Today SFG is locally recognized for its dedication to the formation of the girl child, its self-sustaining green campus, and to the well-being of the surrounding community. Come hear where yesterday’s dream of a retired high school math teacher is leading in tomorrow’s Kenya.
